This time, when I came to Futian, Shenzhen to participate in an international exhibition, I deliberately avoided the crowded temporary homestays around the exhibition center and chose YM Gold Olives Harmony International Hotel Shenzhen. After staying there, I realized that this hotel, rooted in the core area of Futian, perfectly blended the convenience of exhibition travel and the sense of security of living, becoming the most comfortable place to stay on my trip to the Shenzhen International Fair.
Walking over 600 meters from the Convention and Exhibition Center Station on Line 1, you don't have to drag a suitcase full of exhibition racks around the congested auxiliary roads around the exhibition area. After turning a corner at the subway exit, you can see the glass door of the hotel. The doorman saw the heavy exhibition materials in my hand from afar and immediately stepped forward to help share the burden. He smiled and reminded me of the hotel's free 24-hour parking lot, so you don't have to drive around to find a parking space in the surrounding area when you come to participate in the exhibition. At the moment of pushing open the lobby, the hustle and bustle around the exhibition was immediately separated behind. The warm and modern decoration had a perfect business feel, and the exhaustion of rushing all the way to the high-speed rail dissipated in half.
When checking in, the front desk staff heard that I was going to the exhibition center early the next day, so they took the initiative to upgrade me to a quiet landscape room on a higher floor. They even handed me a handwritten note, which marked the off peak commuting route to the exhibition center, and even wrote the address of a local Chaoshan soup noodle shop nearby that did not require queuing clearly. The moment I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and bright. The french window were facing the city skyline of Futian CBD. In the evening, the curtains were opened, and the afterglow of the setting sun was sprinkled on the glass curtain wall of Ping An Financial Center. The evening lights of the convention and exhibition center in the distance were lit along the building outline, and the city night scene with full atmosphere was always photographed. The spacious office desk by the window is just enough to hold my exhibition design, and the high-speed Wi Fi is stable throughout the entire process without dropping. Even the exhibition brochures that transmit hundreds of Mbps will not get stuck, completely avoiding the frustrating situation of Wi Fi jamming in other hotels. The bedding was fluffy and soft, and after a busy day at the exhibition, my legs were sore. After lying down for a while, my exhaustion dissipated all over my body.
The most unforgettable thing is the intimate pyrotechnic atmosphere in the hotel. The next morning, I went to have a buffet breakfast. There are all kinds of Cantonese shrimp dumplings, Chaoshan soup powder, and freshly ground coffee. The ingredients of the freshly cooked Cantonese submarine porridge are delicious. Even Chaoshan exhibitors like me, who are very picky about Congee, have even drunk two bowls of porridge. After finishing the exhibition in the evening and not wanting to go out, I ordered a signature Puning bean sauce baked chicken from the specialty restaurant downstairs. The skin is tender and the meat is fragrant, paired with a delicious old fire soup. You don't have to go to the old city to queue up, and you can enjoy the authentic Chaoshan flavor.
Living here for a few days, you don't have to worry about traveling at all. You can walk directly to Futian Convention and Exhibition Center in ten minutes, without having to wake up early to set up exhibitions. After sleeping enough, you can leisurely pass by, and there is no need to wait in long queues when entering during off peak hours. It takes a 20 minute drive to reach the Shenzhen Civic Center, and after the light show, you can also go to the nearby CBD business district for a late night snack. The daily schedule is full, but you won't waste energy on the road at all. Before leaving, I accidentally left my exhibition USB drive in the lobby bar. After checking out, I realized that I was trying it out and called the front desk. That afternoon, I received a package from the hotel that didn't even cover the shipping cost.
Throughout the entire stay, there were no deliberate internet celebrity gimmicks, but the convenience of Futian Convention and Exhibition Area was perfectly integrated with the comfort of an old hotel. Compared to the short-term rental accommodations around the exhibition that only do temporary business, the quietness and comfort of YM Gold Olives Harmony International Hotel Shenzhen actually gave me a rare sense of relaxation during my busy exhibition schedule. Next time I come to Futian to attend the exhibition, I will definitely choose this place directly.Show more
